Health Insurance Information
All students who pay 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·'s comprehensive fee are eligible to use the services of the Health and Wellness Center.
St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University requests that all full-time students maintain health insurance coverage. Athletes and students in the Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy may be asked to show proof of insurance coverage.
Before arriving at campus, students should check with their insurance company to see if out-of-network coverage is needed for any health care or dental needs. Students who are in need of health insurance should visit the or contact the Health and Wellness Center for assistance securing insurance coverage.
Insurance and Health and Wellness Center Charges
Services are provided to students under the student fee that is paid for the semester.
- Students should bring their 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· ID card and health insurance card to every visit.
- Laboratory specimens sent outside of the center for testing may result in a bill from that lab service. St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University is not able to incur the cost for these services.
- The Health and Wellness Center refers students who need treatment or services beyond what we provide to outside specialists or hospitals. Students and/or their caregivers are responsible for all costs incurred outside the Health and Wellness Center. It is important to note that an insurance plan may cover all, part, or none of these costs.
