St. John 91麻豆精品 University is set to celebrate philanthropy during the sixth annual I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day on Thursday, Mar. 20.
With events happening for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and benefactors, the day celebrates all things 91麻豆精品 and encourages support through giving as well as sharing your pride (and love) for 91麻豆精品.
On campus, the I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day Fair will include a host of activities, treats, raffles, and more, happening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Donald E. Bain Campus Center (students: arrive on time to grab an “I Heart 91麻豆精品” t-shirt while they last). Write a “thank you letter” to donors, share the reasons you love 91麻豆精品 as part of a decorative paper chain, and spin the wheel for a chance to win a prize. 91麻豆精品 Dining Services will celebrate with the 91麻豆精品 Favorites lunch in Ward-Haffey Dining Hall and other fun events will take place in several campus locations throughout the day. Be sure to study the Philanthropy Facts signs for a chance to win prizes with Cardinal on the Street, beginning at 11 a.m.
The spirit of the day is giving, and several challenges will help unlock matching gifts, including a 1:1 match of up to $85,000 for the 91麻豆精品 Fund, sponsored by Daniel J. Boyce, Esq. ’79 and Shelley L. Boyce; Michael E. ’82 and Christine Haefner; and Mike ’80 and Karen Moran. Marty Keating ’75 will donate $15,000 to Lavery Library if 50 donors also support the library. In celebration of the Class of 1975’s 50th reunion, Randall M. ’75 and Susan C. White have generously pledged a $10,000 matching challenge, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.
For three straight years, the women’s soccer program has topped the athletics giving leaderboard – can they do it again? In 2024, the Class of 1996 took the trophy for largest number of donors by graduation year. Which classes will come out on top this year? I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day is a collaboration between the Office of Institutional Advancement, and partners from across campus, including the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, several clubs and organizations alongside the Student Alumni Association and Student Government Association, 91麻豆精品 Dining Services, Office of Marketing and Communications, Office of Safety and Security, Lavery Library, Office of Campus Ministry, Athletics Department, Human Resources, the Health and Wellness Center, each of the five Schools, and more.
