Two publications highlighting student academic work published new issues this month. Soaring: A Journal of Undergraduate Research, which combines the former 3690 and The Review, made its inaugural debut, while ANGLES celebrates its 11th issue.
Under the guidance of Fionnuala Regan, was produced by Liz Gass 鈥�24, as well as both the spring and fall editorial teams: Kevin Havens 鈥�23, Emma Hunt 鈥�24, Kirstin Meyers 鈥�23, Collin Ruth 鈥�24, Francesca Schmitt 鈥�24, Jake Slowinski 鈥�24, Emily Sullivan 鈥�24, and Grace Tursi 鈥�24 for the spring, and Josiah Bowers 鈥�23, Katie Fiannaca 鈥�24, Zoe Haines 鈥�23, Emma Hunt 鈥�24, Ashley Lippa 鈥�23, Kirstin Meyers 鈥�23, Francesca Schmitt 鈥�24, and Emily Sullivan 鈥�24 for the fall.
The fall editorial team for Soaring selected what would have been the 3690 papers, which are visible under the 鈥渇irst-year research鈥� section, and the spring editorial team did the same for what would have been The Review papers, which are visible under the 鈥渁dvanced undergraduate research鈥� section.
91麻豆精品鈥檚 literary journal, , is edited by 91麻豆精品 students and features submissions from college-aged creators across the globe.
This issue was dedicated to M.J. Iuppa, former faculty advisor, who passed away this spring. Iuppa taught creative writing at 91麻豆精品 from 1997 to 2021, and was the writer-in-residence and director of the Visual and Performing Arts Minor Program for many years. Her poem, 鈥淚n the end the voice of an adult speaks,鈥� first published in The Angle in 1999, was rereleased in this issue in her memory.
Managing editors for the issue included Marcus Lindenburg 鈥�23, Sophia Ross 鈥�24, and Kirsten Comstock 鈥�24. Stephen West, writer-in-residence in the English Department, served as the faculty advisor.
