Wittmeyer Serves as Presenter at National Entrepreneur Conference

Dr. Carol Wittmeyer, interim dean of the School of Business, presented three sessions at the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship® (USASBE) 2022: Pioneer and Persevere! Conference held in Raleigh, NC, Jan. 6-9.

Along with colleagues Juliana Binhote and Dr. Isabel C. Botero of the University of Louisville and Dr. Joseph H. Astrachan, from Kennesaw State University, presented, 鈥淒eveloping successful next-generation members: Does working outside really help?鈥 in the Translating Research for Impact Track.

In the Emerging Experiential Exercises - Connecting Students track they presented, 鈥淭he role of socialization for committed next-generation members.鈥

Wittmeyer also presented at the pre-conference Family Business Special Interest Summit on 鈥淪uccession planning and family business continuity鈥 along with Dr. Alfredo De Massis from the University of Bolzano and Dr. David Choi from Loyola Marymount University.

Wittmeyer previously chaired the family business group.

USASBE is an inclusive community of educators, researchers, and entrepreneurs advancing entrepreneurship education through bold teaching, scholarship, and practice.
