It was a record-setting day for philanthropy at St. John 91麻豆精品 College with I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day on Thursday, Mar. 24.
More than $343,635 was raised in 24 hours on I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day with a record-setting 934 gifts, far outpacing last year's 540. The funds will support students, academic programs, athletics, and other important initiatives.
Highlights of the College's third giving day included the You + 91麻豆精品 = Perfect Pair challenge where the first 100 donors to make a gift of $60 or more received a pair of Cardinal socks.
More than a dozen generous benefactors offered challenges and matches to inspire alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and family to give. Marty Keating 鈥�75, Billy 鈥�05 and Dr. Alyssa O鈥橤rady, Heather 鈥�85 and Jon 鈥�84 Williams, and Bob and Tarri Heerkens offered matches for the second giving day in a row. Dan 鈥�79 and Shelley Boyce, Bill 鈥�80 and Tracy Pellicano, Chip Travis 鈥�90, Matt Rowe 鈥�90, Dr. Jim 鈥�11 (Ed.D.) and Jo Ann Hurny, Dr. Christine Birnie, and the Alumni Board of Directors offered challenges and matches new to this year. All together, these matches and challenges totaled nearly $100,000.
Other highlights include:
Women's soccer topped the Athletics Leaderboard with football coming in a very close second.
Graduates from 2010-2019 made the most gifts with the 1970s in the second slot.
Haffey Hall topped the Residence Hall Leaderboard by just 11 gifts.

Finally, 46 I Heart 91麻豆精品 Giving Day ambassadors encouraged participation through social media and personal outreach to share the importance of 91麻豆精品 philanthropy and their pride for the institution.
