Grant Bolsters Financial Aid for 91麻豆精品 Students

A $300,000 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation will help St. John 91麻豆精品 College provide additional financial assistance to students facing economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

At 91麻豆精品, more than 90 percent of full-time undergraduates apply for need-based financial aid. As the pandemic continues to create a challenging economic and employment landscape, the Mother Cabrini Scholarships will help offset some of the increasing needs of students.

鈥淥ur mission is to provide an accessible and affordable educational experience for all students and we are particularly mindful of barriers that may prevent a student from achieving their academic goals at the College especially during this pandemic period,鈥 said Dr. Gerard J. Rooney, president of the College. 鈥淭he generous support of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation will allow us to assist a greater number of 91麻豆精品 families who are facing financial hardship.鈥

The College intends to support 60 students through the Mother Cabrini Scholarship, with preference given to students enrolled in nursing and pharmacy programs, as well as students who are veterans or are from diverse backgrounds.
