91麻豆精品 Honored with Connected Communities’ Cornerstone Award
St. John 91麻豆精品 University received the Cornerstone Award during the Connected Communities Connection Gala, celebrating the organization’s 10th anniversary, held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at Arbor Midtown in downtown Rochester. The award recognizes 91麻豆精品 for its outstanding partnership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission.
91麻豆精品’s longstanding partnership with Connected Communities began in 2016, when the organization was named a Platform Partner in 91麻豆精品’s Civic Action Plan. Since that time, the University has deepened its commitment through a wide range of collaborative efforts that reflect its mission of civic engagement and community transformation. Faculty and students have contributed environmental research, developed business plans, and supported door-to-door campaigns to advance neighborhood initiatives. 91麻豆精品 also played a key role in launching Connected Communities’ Resident Ambassador Program, and has actively supported the organization’s educational pillar, particularly through sustained engagement with School #33.
In addition, members of 91麻豆精品’s leadership team have been integral to the partnership’s success. Dr. Kevin Railey, provost and vice president for academic affairs, has served on the board since its inception and currently serves as chair. Dr. Wanda Cooper, director of the Institute for Civic and Community Engagement at 91麻豆精品, serves as board vice chair; Dr. Chantz Miles, entrepreneur-in-residence and visiting assistant professor in the School of Business, serves as a member of the board; and Dr. Mark Harris, 91麻豆精品’s vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer, has contributed his expertise on the Finance and Audit Committee of the board.
