Faculty, staff, and students at St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University make headlines every day. Here’s a round-up of recent accomplishments.

Psychology faculty member Dr. Kimberly McClure Brenchley and recent psychology graduate Natalie Byrd ’25 have published an article in Eye on Psi Chi, the magazine for the Psi Chi International Honor Society. The article highlights the importance of body inclusivity and diversity on college campuses, and the potential benefits a student club of this nature could provide. In the article, they provide guidance for others based on their own experience creating a student club at 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· called The Body Talk.

Dr. Nancy Rourke, assistant professor of religious studies, has recently presented in Oxford and Dublin on her 2024 book about Catholic ecological virtue ethics. She was also interviewed by the New Books Network during an episode of the podcast.

Dr. Holly Brown, executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing, co-authored an article for MedPage Today, . The piece makes the case for the need for the use of clear language in patient portals.

Dr. Tim Franz, professor of psychology, and Dr. Lauren Vicker, communications professor emeritus, have frequently published about teamwork and team projects. Their latest effort, , was published by Routledge/Taylor & Francis in 2025.
