Swing into the Holidays with the 91麻豆精品 Swingbirds

The 91麻豆精品 Swingbirds will perform a holiday concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.
The Swingbirds, which began in 2013 as a pep band for 91麻豆精品 Athletics, has changed over the years to become the University鈥檚 only jazz ensemble, playing a variety of genres and music. During the concert, they鈥檒l play a selection of holiday classics, including 鈥淪anta鈥檚 Workshop Samba鈥 and 鈥淭he Christmas Song.鈥
This year鈥檚 91麻豆精品 Swingbirds include senior Marcus Lindenburg on piano; juniors Wes Harris on saxophone and Veronica Gibbons on flute; sophomores Josephine Porter on flute and Tyler Stoetzel on percussion; and first-year students Caleb Soria on percussion; Hannah Aiken on clarinet; and Felicia Karandy on trumpet.
