Courses with a community-engaged learning component can be found across all academic disciplines at 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·. Some courses may fulfill requirements of the Core Curriculum, while others may count toward major or minor requirements.

Arts and Sciences
- CHEM 2125: Science Changing Society - Emily Kerr
Students will collaborate with community members to research current scientific topics and practice communicating scientific information. - CHEM 315L: Analytical Chemistry I Lab - Irene Kimaru
Students will collect water quality data to inform local conservation efforts. - CORE 4990-02: Keys to Aging Well - Marta Rodríguez-Galán
Students will consult with elders to learn about their experiences. They will research a specific topic related to aging and design an intervention. - CORE 4990-12: Building Community History - Anthony Siracusa
Students will create an exhibit to display the history of a local church. - CRIM 330: Human Trafficking - Keith Beer
Students will contribute to human trafficking awareness and education initiatives. - ENGL 268: Fundamentals of Film- Michelle Flood

Students will provide recommendations to local retailers after conducting research and on-site analysis of the businesses. - MKTG 403: Social Media Marketing – Alexandra Salas
Students will generate a strategic marketing roadmap tailored to the partnering organization’s needs.
Education
