Since 2009, Dr. Dane-Staples has directed the campus-sponsored National Girls and Women in Sports Day, including a K-12 essay contest. Visit to learn about the Essay Contest and supporting NGWSD. She enjoys helping student develop into future industry leaders who have a strong understanding of how society operates and how sport can play a positive role in communities. What Dr. Dane-Staples values most about the program are the interactions between the students and professors, and the genuine relationship that are built.
