10/30/2023 - St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University has appointed Dr. Holly Brown as the new executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing.
10/27/2023 - In fall 2022, St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University joined the Consortium on Trauma, Illness, & Grief (TIG), a trauma response program that helps institutions effectively respond to challenges facing students and campuses more broadly. One year later, 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· has nearly doubled the number of employees trained in crisis response skills, and has the largest higher education team regionally.
10/27/2023 - The Teddi Dance for Love Committee will mark the 100-day countdown to the longest running student-led tradition at 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· with events and activities all week. Teddi 42, a 24-hour dance-a-thon that benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, will take place Friday, Feb. 9 through Saturday, Feb. 10 at St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University.
10/26/2023 - During its annual celebration, the Rochester Education Foundation (REF) honored three St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University alumni, including Dr. Marlowe Washington ’19 (Ed.D.), senior diversity officer at the University.
10/25/2023 - The week of Monday, Nov. 6, St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University will celebrate its first-generation students and alumni with a week full of lectures and events.
10/25/2023 - St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University’s annual celebration of Philosophy Day will feature the talk, “The Dread of Tyrants: Frederick Douglass on the Right to Speak, Listen, and Learn.”
10/24/2023 - National mental health and motivational speaker Richard Taylor will deliver the lecture, “Taylormade Empowerment: Empowerment and Resilience,” at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Basil 135 at St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University.
10/23/2023 - A faculty member and two students from St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University were recently selected by the Council on Undergraduate Research to participate in a six-month collaborative research program.
