11/03/2022 - On Friday, Oct. 28, St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· University dedicated a classroom named for alumnus, trustee, and longtime donor, Marty Keating ’75.

Designed to enhance teaching and learning at the University, i91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· is an extension of the institution’s commitment to providing students with transformative experiences designed to help them achieve their educational goals and early career outcomes.
06/06/2022 - On Friday, June 3, St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· College celebrated the official opening and dedication of the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence, a vibrant new space designed to provide faculty with opportunities to experiment with creative and flexible instructional approaches and cutting-edge tools to enhance their teaching.
04/28/2022 - It’s well-known that St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· College students and faculty are using iPads across many different academic departments. But, the i91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·: Next Generation Learning Initiative has also put iPads to use in several of 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·’s athletic programs. Melissa Kuberka, head women’s basketball coach and a recent graduate of 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·’s MBA program, has seen the value of iPads in the classroom and on the court.
04/21/2022 - St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· College students Cassidy Wing ’24 and Kurt Schultz ’23 had the opportunity to infuse new creative thinking through use of their iPads and had a fresh take on what the study of Shakespeare can look like.
10/26/2021 - Nine classrooms at St. John 91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· College are being transformed into innovative, flexible, active learning spaces, thanks in part to a $52,000 grant from the Higher Education Capital Match Program (HECap) that was secured in collaboration with the College’s Office of Sponsored Programs.
10/15/2021 - Beginning this fall, all undergraduate students received their own iPad, keyboard case, and Apple Pencil as part of i91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·: Next Generation Learning Initiative, stemming from the College’s commitment to providing students with transformative experiences designed to help them achieve their educational goals and early career outcomes.
09/13/2021 - 1,991 iPads, countless happy students. Over the last several weeks, the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence led a massive iPad distribution effort, all part of the i91Âé¶¹¾«Æ·: Next Generation Learning Initiative.
